Kelly Batey is a conveyancing lawyer and director of Bateys Law Firm, a practice based in Revesby serving South West Sydney since 2007. She specialises in making the conveyancing process straightforward for clients, whether they are purchasing their first home, selling a property, or managing a more complex transaction. Kelly’s approach is practical and cost-effective, with an emphasis on reducing stress during what is often an exciting but demanding time for families.
In addition to conveyancing, Kelly advises clients on family law matters (including divorce, property settlement, parenting orders, and consent orders), wills and estate planning, and probate.
Professional Leadership
Kelly served as elected President of the Bankstown and District Branch of the Law Society of New South Wales. The Law Society is the professional body representing solicitors in NSW, responsible for regulation, professional development, and practitioner standards.
Kelly is also a past Secretary of Collaborative Professionals (NSW) Inc., a state body affiliated with the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Collaborative practice is an interdisciplinary approach to family dispute resolution where lawyers, financial advisors, and child specialists work together to resolve matters without court proceedings. The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia recognises collaborative practice as a form of alternative dispute resolution in family law.

Kelly served as Chair of the Board of Directors for Georges River Grammar, an independent Anglican K-12 school located in Georges Hall, South West Sydney. The school, established in 1984, serves approximately 930 students and is part of the Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation.
